One biggest mistake he makes every day is that he always thinks about how to outsmart and win around people. And more interestingly, he had lots of friends like him. Those kinds of friends that never steal but after their visitation, their departure announced the missing of your parents’ jewelries -birds of the same feather….
Oga Chucks |
One day, his cup ran over. The great Chucks went to play
football with friends, as usual and against the new order by his parents
(through his sensitive and harsh dad). It was no longer funny to him when he
realized how late he had stayed in the field and as a smart guy; he had already
cooked some delicious lies to tell when asked.
Just as he wanted to sneak into the house, his dad caught
his shadow and echoes his name, with a thunderous voice. “Chucks! Where are you
coming from?”
He answered (immediately): I was in my friends’ house.
Just right there, his father picked up his phone and called
almost all his friends and here was the amazing results.
Seven of his friends confirmed with all manner of efficacy,
that Chucks was still in their houses…loll. And as if that was not enough, the
remaining set of friends went as far as asking if they should give the phone to
chucks. Chai! What kind of son do you think this Chucks is, or if you are his
parents, what kind of punishment will you suggest?
Moral: the old saying that every day is for the thief but
one day is for the owner’ is still applied to our daily and lifetime
activities, and the owner’s day may be the judgment day. Your friends tell more
about where you are going (become in life). No matter how smart you may thing
of being, someday, it may need to be upgraded. If you start lying today, it may
take you more and greater lies to cover up with your lies in future. Save your
integrity and start building on trust….like my page for more on Chucks’way
